Nimisha was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Kelleher Lab for a short time after completing her PhD in Physics in the laboratory of <a href=\"https:\/\/artsandsciences.syracuse.edu\/people\/faculty\/jennifer-ross\/#Biography\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/artsandsciences.syracuse.edu\/people\/faculty\/jennifer-ross\/#Biography\">Dr. Jennifer Ross<\/a> at Syracuse University . She worked on in vitro reconstituted systems to understand intracellular transport and biomaterial properties in the cytoskeleton.
